China Expresses Continuous Support to Cambodia

Phnom Penh: Chinese President Xi Jinping has expressed to continuously support Cambodia as the two countries’ bilateral relations have maintained high-level development.

He describes their relationship as ironclad friends through a letter addressed to Prime Minister Hun Sen in line with his congratulatory message as Cambodia’s People Party or CPP celebrated its 70th Founding Anniversary on Monday, 28th of June.

The Chinese President says that over the years, CPP has been uniting and leading the people of Cambodia in the cause of national construction and development, making positive contribution to regional stability and prosperity.

He has also added that since the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic, China and Cambodia have been standing together and helping each other, interpreting through concrete action the unbreakable and unfading nature of their friendship.

Chinese President Jinping highlights that he would like to work with Prime Minister Hun Sen to strengthen political guidance for relations between their two parties and two countries and push forward the building of China-Cambodia community with shared future to benefit the two countries and its people.
